Our Raspberry Seed CO2 extract (Rubus idaeus) is 100% pure and natural. It is obtained through supercritical CO2 extraction performed at Florihana. CO2 extraction is a precise and environmentally friendly method used to extract valuable compounds from natural materials. It begins with supercritical carbon dioxide (CO2), which acts as a solvent to dissolve and carry away the desired compounds from plants. After extraction, by adjusting the pressure and temperature, the CO2 returns to a gaseous state, leaving behind the extracted compounds.
Stronger and more distinct aroma than carrier oil. The CO2 extract is generally more concentrated and potent, requiring smaller quantities for effective use.
HOW TO USE
• Pure Use: Raspberry seed CO2 extract can be applied directly to the skin in small quantities. It is particularly effective on dry or irritated areas to provide intensive hydration and reparative properties.
• Mixing with Carrier Oils: For a gentler application, mix a few drops of CO2 extract with a carrier oil, such as jojoba or sweet almond oil. This blend can be used as a daily moisturizer or as a targeted treatment.
• Serums and Face Oils: Add a few drops of raspberry seed CO2 extract to your serum or face oil to enhance the product's antioxidant and moisturizing properties.
• Creams and Lotions: Incorporate CO2 extract into your creams and lotions to enrich these products with additional nutrients, helping to soothe and nourish the skin.
