Our Rose hip CO2 extract (Rosa rubiginosa) is 100% pure and natural. It is obtained through supercritical CO2 extraction performed at Florihana. CO2 extraction is a precise and environmentally friendly method used to extract valuable compounds from natural materials. It begins with supercritical carbon dioxide (CO2), which acts as a solvent to dissolve and carry away the desired compounds from plants. After extraction, by adjusting the pressure and temperature, the CO2 returns to a gaseous state, leaving behind the extracted compounds.
Stronger and more distinct aroma than the carrier oil, and a richer hue ranging from orange to reddish due to its higher carotenoid content. Promotes skin regeneration and healing.
